The Sacred Echoes of a Statement &
The Unparalleled Series
Los Angeles born and based multi-medium visual artist Osyris in collaboration with the Healing Arts Foundation and The Angeles Art Box features a series of works from her installation entitled "Slave Descendant: The Sacred Echoes of a Statement & The Unparalleled Series" The work delivers the story of her roots as an Filipina African-American. The exhibit held to benefit members of the LGBTQ+ community focuses on amplifying the excellence, richness, strength, power and beauty of the legacy the artist's ancestors left behind. The show is open to the public for viewing from November 11-16, 2022.


THE STRADFORD HOTEL
J.B. Stradford along with 9 others were inducted into the Black Excellence Hall of Fame for their outstanding contributions and achievements as Black American pioneers and leaders on May 30, 2021 in Tulsa, OK at the 100 year Anniversary commemorating the Tulsa Massacre
Osyris, the artist pays homage to her Great Great Grandfather, J.B. Stradford who was one of the founding fathers of Black Wall Street in Tulsa, OK also known as Greenwood in a painting she entitled
"J.B. Stradford, Esq."
